Bicycles for Humanity is a local charity that collects unwanted mountain bikes and ships them to communities in need in Namibia, Africa.

Your old bike could provide someone with access to food, water, education, healthcare and employment.

Our next bike collection day is Saturday 17th May at St Ives Showground, Mona Vale Road, St Ives, NSW.
Bring your bike along between 11am and 3pm.

We will pack your bike into a shipping container that will soon be sent to Africa. When the container arrives in Africa it will be converted into a bike shop, which provides important training and education to local people.

For more information please visit http://www.bikesforhumanity.com.au/

Please note: No kids or racing bike donations thanks. We try to only send those bikes that are economically useful and fat tyre bikes work best with the sand and thorns in Africa.

If you have any questions or comments please email info@bikesforhumanity.com.au

Please note that the St Ives Show is also taking place at the Showground on Saturday so the site will be quite busy.

We will put up extra signage and will have volunteers helping to direct bike donors, but please be patient if the site is busy.

Look forward to seeing you there with your old bikes.

I've contacted someone from your charity and our business will be providing any suitable bikes from the 250 odd that we have collected over the past months.

We're really looking forward to them being put to good use by those less fortunate and also preventing these bikes from going to scrap.

Hopefully this will be something we can support long term.
