Hi guys,

I wanna do a service on my ck hubs but haven't been able to locate the ck ringdrive grease locally, does anyone know where to buy it besides aspire velotech in the USA?

Also what's a good alternative I can use, that I can buy from stores in Australia?

Cheers

Oh am I meant to service my chris king hubs? Have had them on my bmx for 7years and never opened them. They are still going strong.

I've always used slick honey in both of mine, it's a similar consistency. I tend to pull it apart at least once or twice a year since its easy and have had no problems with it since new in 2008.
I've also been told that tri-flo is good in a pinch. It runs a little louder but does a good job.

Slick honey would be fine as mentioned, or the red weldtite grease that's pretty common here (comes in green tubes). As long as it's not too thick or sticky it will be fine. Make sure you do the bearings too.
