Code R vs RSC

My Sender came with Guide RS's but one has started to stick in the lever (when the temperature is warmer) and i feel they are generally a bit underpowered for a DH bike.

Most likely looking at Codes to replace them, but is it worth spending the extra $100 for each brake to get RSC's over R's? For anyone that has tried both is there much of a difference?

Definitely should have gone to specsavers
If you’re coming from Guide RS then you may find Code R brakes have more stopping power, but less modulation as they lack the swing link in the lever (the ‘S’ in RS). The pad contact point adjustment of the RSC version is really useful too, if you like having a consistent lever feel between front and rear brakes.

Before you chuck the Guides, you can fix sticky levers cheaply with new internals on eBay, and if you haven’t tried sintered pads, give them a go - they make a huge difference.
