On the FR - Anyone notice the rear brake is attached to the seat stays even though it is a faux 4 bar?I don't mind it I do like the freeride one more though, looks really clean! However the shock guards look like tents.
What? Kona don't attach their brake to the chainstay. On the FR - Anyone notice the rear brake is attached to the seat stays even though it is a faux 4 bar?
Doesn't look like it to me. Looks lie an optical elousion. I thinkk it's on the chain stay.On the FR - Anyone notice the rear brake is attached to the seat stays even though it is a faux 4 bar?
Yes Kona attach their brake on the chain stay - this bike is on the seat stay.. The implications of this is the brake does not pivot concentric to the axle - eg when the suspension moves the brake contact on the disk rotor will change. What? Kona don't attach their brake to the chainstay.
I don't understand the significance of your observation.
