I don't mind it :p I do like the freeride one more though, looks really clean! However the shock guards look like tents.

Edit: FARK Look at the backsweep on those bars!

On the FR - Anyone notice the rear brake is attached to the seat stays even though it is a faux 4 bar?

What? Kona don't attach their brake to the chainstay.
I don't understand the significance of your observation.
Yes Kona attach their brake on the chain stay - this bike is on the seat stay.. The implications of this is the brake does not pivot concentric to the axle - eg when the suspension moves the brake contact on the disk rotor will change.

Pyga bikes use the same design too..

I really like it, But I also like the redalp, and most other notoriously ugly bikes.
the FR bike I still think its chainstay mounted. its just a large section that contains the pivot the brake mount and the axel
