Crank Brothers 2012 5050 2 (Blk/Silver)

Would these pedals be worth cutting the cost compared to the Crank Brothers 2012 5050 3 (Blk/Red)?
I'm pretty well broke at the moment as im saving for schoolies and blowing majority of my money on the weekends anyways
Thoughts?

Get these bad boys -> http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=31556 best pedal ive ever used and very cheap compared to the crank bro's. ive used the old 50/50's and i ended up giving them away. the Holzeffelers have a shit load of grip, and with 5'10's they will blow your mind! All three of my mates run them as well. however they are very sharp, landed me with stiches.

Do these work with bike rack/shuttle trailer crank holders???

Don't get 5050s. My mate has bought a few sets over the years and they go to crap (bearings get shot and the pedal shifts side to side). Those Truvativs don't fit in most shuttle trailers...

No they wont mate. Ive got a wheel mounted rack without the crank holders.
