So I kinda understood a SINGLE cryptocurrency but the apparent ease with which any twat can launch a "currency" is what makes crypto an absolute joke to me (at this point in time... hey, maybe one day there will be proper regulation but that would impose on Murican freedumb)

I saw what looked to be a pensioner using one at the newsagents. Wonder what dirty money enterprise he's running
 
I suppose you could use them to buy VPN time or send donations to services/projects that accept crypto. Only problem is shopping centers aren't exactly low surveillance environments.
