Cyclocross - whats the deal

A lot of cyclists in Europe actually ride cyclecross in the off season to keep fit (mountain bikers & Roadies). It has very little meaning here other than its erotic origins towards cycling. Most of us are able to ride all year round on the road and dirt.

What club are you in? I'm half tempted to race if I can maintain my fitness and skill.

Mum and Dad club, very beginner friendly but also draws some of the fastest riders in the state. 1 round I can be near the podium, the next I come close to getting lapped - when the fast kids turn up.
