Are screwdrivers handed out at the door so you can plunge them into your ears? because that's about the only thing that would make any of that tripe listenable!

You guys should check out the essential mixes from 199X - 2003 (ish) some seriously awesome techno, prog and trance from way back when. Blew my mind listening back... the ol "dont make it like they used to" certainly applies here!

Also, re headphones: What really gets my goat is when people harp on about sound quality, whilst listening to mp3 (or the apple equivalent) on their iPods... Irony much? If you hold the sound quality so close to you heart (or ears), then do yourselves a favour and strap a turntable and a rack of LP's to your back, and enjoy the quality, albeit, minus the convenience!

Don't think the kids in this thread will either like prog of any kind or know what it is. Recommend me some techno though?

I don't care how bloody mainstream Showtek are, they have the catchiest melodies!

Also, a good place to track down some new tunes that I just found:

Dada Life...
Haha, I thought I'd posted that already! I was halfway through writing a response when I thought I better double check...

Absolutely amazing song ay! That is undoubtedly the best remix I have ever heard, it's the most played song in my iTunes by more than double.

second that, I've been into dance music for as long as I can remember and that era from the mid to late 90's to the early 00's produced so many classics tunes. No wonder there are so many classics and anthems compilations going round.

I've only recently gotten into dance music and this song is one of the ones that I actually like.
