Derailleur Hangers

Hey, i was wondering if there are any stronger derailleur hangers for Giant AC's than the normal one you would buy in a giant shop? Because i have bought a few from a local Giant dealer and they all snap too easily and i am having to replace them regularly.

You should be able to get a stronger one from the lbs than a giant labled one.

The giant ones are cast alloy whereas the other non giant branded ones are usually machined. Be prepared though, they are $50 instead of $30.

Thanks yeah i don't mind about price just as long as its stronger. Does any one else know where to get them from? or any other types?

Be careful,
you don't want to make it much stronger and snap the derailleur instead,it sounds like the hangers are doing there job!
I just snapped 250 dollars worth of derailleur,one of the reasons i beleive is that my hanger was too strong(i tried to bend it by hand and had trouble bending it).
So beware!

My soft hanger just saved my much more expensive X9 R/D.

You might get a stronger hanger, but you'll end up replacing more derailleurs.
