Dh bike, full face, body armour and shin/knee guards for beginner

Im doing this for a friend of mine.He is a beginner and would like to get the equipement as he would like to give Thredbo interschools a go.

Item: a beginner's dh bike as
Location: Sydney
Price range/Willing to Pay: No more than $1000
Extra Info: Must be rideable. (as in, you would feel safe riding a dh track on).
It would be good if everything on it is working mechanically fine.
Size: a medium or a small. Dont bother showing a large

Item: Fullface Helmet
Location:Sydney
Price Range:No more than $100
Extra Info: Must have no damage and have never had a crash involving a head first. Size. Small/ medium. He may fit a large

Item:Body Armour
Location:Sydney
price range: $60
Extra Info:Would be good if it was a medium size.

Item:Knee/shin guard
Location:Sydney
Price Range:No more than $40
Extra Info:Would be good if it is a small or a medium.

I got a Giant AC dual Suspension bike for sale, brake is broken but just get a new one for 180 dollars or so and it should be sweet, possibility of me getting it fixed fo you as well
