From the Marzocchi manual:

Riders weight ................. Positive air pressure
55 - 70kg ...................... 30 - 40psi
70 - 80kg ...................... 35 - 45psi
80 - 95kg ...................... 42 - 52psi
95 - 100+kg................... 52 - 65psi

Doesn't mention a maximum pressure but at 65psi they're almost rigid!

I run 5psi in mine , good for general stuffing around.

without a guage is fine too, just put an equal amount in each leg. I did that for a few months no worries
My EXR comps have one valve that does both sides so i guess i dont have to worry about putting the same in each side. :D

I went out today and brought a digital tyre pressure gauge, it does psi and bar.
The forks measured exactly 30 psi. So i pumped them up to 45psi and now they feel alot better.
