Hey, Does anyone run DJ3's for Downhill riding?? I have EXR's atm and i need more travle. I weight like 40kgs. So i dont want some heavy fucker. Are DJ3's and good for downhill?? I can only go for 5 - 6 inch travle cause i dont want to snap my headtube. Shermans would be sweet but they cost to much. Thanks guys/.

well entry level fork they're strong, but damping very limited
but id try to look elsewhere for a more trail orientated fork
and they are a heavy fork which by the sounds of things is not what you want

for a 40kg person they'd be heavy, id check manitou minutes, or even some XC forks for DH if ur not concerned with breakages....my 2c

my mum says im cool
Dj3's are bog for DH... they have slow ass rebound, no ajustment, and god damn they are heavy... Look @ Marzocchi Bomber Drop-off Comp 110mm... they come stock on the Kona Stuffs, and are nice forks... MY dj3's have just broken in soo plush now, but they wouldnt be suitable for the application you need them for.
