I love wasting time looking through the numerous bikes for sale online, especially when you find a cracker with a ludicrous price and description.
Gumtree is perhaps the best hunting ground, but please post them up and share a chuckle anything bike related!
 
Starting bid $2500:
For sale is my Trek Fuel EX8 2008 model. This has been a great ride and hasn't been ridden much. Pretty highly upgraded with Juicy Carbon brakes, Bontrager Carbon Bars, Maxis Tyres, and sexy red grips. The brakes were $1,200 alone and the bike cost about $6,500.00 as is when bought new. This is a really sweet ride for all terrain types, a true all mountain bike and a great climber as well as a very rigid downhill king. You can lock both front and rear suspension off for a full hard tail ride and suspension is fully adjustable with 5 1/2 inches of travel. This bike will take anything you can throw at it. Extremely versatile and great fun to ride. Never been damaged and showing only tiny amounts of wear.

Really, this person is so Harry Hardcore -that he slipped a disc whilst out going for a walk!...probably good job he his cutting his losses and taking a HUGE financial hit by selling his bike, god knows what horrific injuries he might have sustained if he had actually ridden it...
