Downhill "Season"

hi guys

just wondering if there is and official start and end to the downhill season.
is it different for state, national and club rounds or do they over lap.
just got me thinking as it'll be winter soon and there be snow on them there hills.

just got me thinking as it'll be winter soon and there be snow on them there hills.

Clubs generally run year round. State series runs over winter (Not too many hills in Oz that get snowed out). Nats over Summer .

Except in Victoria, where we dont' run our state series over winter, or we'll get hail/rain/sleet/snow/cats/llamas/thunder/lightning 'ed out!!
