seems a bit of a strange choice on the surface. Pro continental squad so will have to rely on wild caard selection for all the big races. There are some decent riders on the team but their best years are behind them (so who will they get in to replace those riders in 2011? Will they have the budget to get good riders?)
Vaughters indicated that he would have liked to discuss a contract at Garmin if he had known Cadel was on the market. Couple of other ProTour teams were interested in talking to him.
Hopefully Cadel has had plenty of time to get comfortable with the idea that the BMC team will be a good fit for him personally and support his goals. But those other questions are a little worrying
