Watching your front wheel helps with balance quite a bit.
And try to learn the spin out of the fakie without using brakes to pivot, it gives you alot more style and looks better.
Going fast helps aswell, it might be scary but just commit to it.
nar mate leave your chain on. Lean back, stay balanced from side to side. turn your bars a bit, squeeze your brakes a little, depending on if you have brakes and the key (i think) is to look behind your shoulder to where you want to turn to. and also pedal out of the spin. hope it helps
