Frame - 2023 Forbidden Dreadnought (Small)
Rear shock - Push Industries ElevenSix
Front shock/fork - Push Industries NineOne (first set in the country)
Handlebars - Deity
Stem - Deity
Headset - Cane Creek
Grips - Second hand death grips as I forgot to order a new set. Idiot!!!
Saddle - WTB Rocket
Seatpost - Forked out the bucks on an AXS reverb.
Front brake - TRP DH-R Evo in "Limited edition" gold, not sure how limited they really are and couldn't care, they look the goods. I broke down my Commencal Clash as I wasn't riding it and these came off that.
Rear brake - See above
Cranks - SRAM GX Transmission.
Chainguide - E-Thirteen.
Chain - GX T-type.
Pedals - Brendog, DMR vaults. Best flats out there in my opinion.
Front derailleur - Phhhhht, nope.
Rear derailleur - GX eagle transmission.
Front shifter - see front derailleur.
Rear shifter - the new transmission compact one. Thinking about using the old AXS one as it matches better with the dropper remote and can use a match maker so less clutter on the bars.
Cassette - GX.
Front hub - Onyx racing.
Rear hub - Onyx racing, the sound of silence. I hate noisey free hubs as anyone that's seen any of my previous builds will know. These also came off the Clash.
Front rim - 29" DT FR560 with custom "matchy" Kashima coloured decals. Not the best match matchy but they'll do.
Rear rim - 27.5" (mullet baby) DT FR560 with decals as above.
Spokes - Yes there are lots of them. 64 in total.
Nipples - I have two, the bike has 64 and they hold the spokes to the rim.
Tyres - Maxxis Assegai up front and Aggressor on the rear. My fav combo.
Tubes - Nope.
Total weight - A lot, don't know or care.

Introducing the Push Industries NineOne fork. I'm super impressed so far with the build quality, the clever design features and of course the ride. I've not done enough k's on them yet to give a solid review but so far I love them and they continue to get better with each ride strangely.

The sexy fork guards required for an upside down fork. They just add to the look of the fork in my opinion as well as serving a purpose. You'll also note the axle and pinch bolt arrangement. These axle "mounts" for better word can be exchanged to give you different fork offsets which is a clever design idea.

The bleeder valves. Push suggest releasing the air out of these every run or two to maintain the best possible ride. There is a definite shot of air released each time I've done it.

The little Allen keys on the back of the fork are for attaching a syringe to remove dirty oil and to replenish it with clean stuff. Due to being upside down in design the seals are constantly lubricated so a quick oil change and it's serviced. Again a great idea.

This mount is capable of running 180-220mm rotors all on the one mount. You just add the correct spacers that push supply with the fork and you are good to go. Mine got damaged in transit, you can see the metal where it should be black at the top of the caliper. The new one arrives today so all good.

Something missing here???

I've been on Push since Dec 2015 or maybe 16, I can't remember. The ElevenSix is still the benchmark in MTB suspension in my opinion.

The whole reason I built a new bike. I have been running my Evil Wreckoning since 2018 and it's still going strong. In fact I had a blast for the 2nd time on it in Whistler in Sept. But I wanted to give the whole High Pivot thing a try. So far I am loving it. The Dreadnought really does fear nothing, it's only me as the weak link.

I've always liked a clean and uncluttered cockpit so opted to go with Transmission. It is quite different. Shifting has a strange feel and it definitely shifts better under load.

In keeping with the uncluttered theme I also forked out the bucks on a 125mm drop AXS wireless dropper. Soooooo much easier to set up than cable droppers.

The heart of the Dreadnought Mullet, the Ziggy link, this thing lifts (I think) the bb so that you can run the 27.5 on the rear without dragging arse. It's very easy to change and Forbidden have the best tech support page I've come across so far. Loads of videos on how to do things.

So that's the bike. I've got a build video you can check out here: -

This thing is amazing, love the attention to detail and the shots
What trails are you riding with this beast?
Also do you find the death grips dont seem to last long or is it just me? About 300kms roughly before they wear?

Stromlo was the first ride but I'll be hitting Thredbo to do the downhill next week so I'm excited to see how it goes.

Yep agreed, I go through them like a dose. They are very soft but I like the feel and I have stupid small girlie hands so the thin deathgrips feel right.

I'm waiting to hear how that fork feels o_O
I'll get a bit more time on them and post up some thoughts for sure. But so far I can say that I'm really impressed. Push say that they take a few rides to really feel right and I can agree. The first ride was really good and I was already happy but the more time I got on them they feel better and better.
