In that case, option 2. The Tora air is a solid performing fork - some of the damping internals are shared with the Reba. They're a bit heavy - steel steerer and stanchions, but compared to the RST's they'll be night and day.

I agree with this one. I swapped my RST capa TL out with the 2008 Tora 318 air on the old HT bike and it was night and day.

I had a set of Toras on a Norco Manic frame i had built up . They were as tough as nails and performed well.:)

you say the difference is night and day, whats the main benefits of me upgrading?
They will actually work? :p

The Tora will;
  • soak up the bumps more effectively
  • offer a much more reliable platform (so not pack up in the wet/cold)
  • offer a much more adjustable platform (rebound, spring rate and lockout)
  • be an all round stiffer ride with less flex etc

A very wise upgrade I think. Good luck!
