Fork problem

Hey,

I have some 06 Pike 409s and they have been mucking up lately.

If i have them set at 95mm, they will seem to bottom out after only using 40mm of travel.

I have set it at the highest as well (145mm) and they still seem to bottom out about 55mm from the top (only use 90mm).

Any idea whats wrong? I was thinking that they might be bent, but they don't look it and i haven't given them much punishment.

Thanks.

Haven't had this problem with pikes, but on my 07 teams they bottomed out at 180mm, instead of 203mm. Just took out the compression side of the fork leg and cleaned it with a rag and put it back in. Something was jammed, but all worked well after it was put back together.

Yeah i'd probably take them into your LBS for a rebuild, or if you think you can do it for yourself, go for it!
