Fork rebound settings for DJ

Just wondering if there are any good rules when setting rebound for DJ's forks.

Or is purely up to the rider?

dude in no case do you ever need it that fast..
as slow as possible is better.
unless your going about 100km down a hill into some studders you wont need it fast..
try them different though

and this means? They are talking about rebound usually referred to as 'slow' or 'fast'. Not talking about firmness of DJ forks.

low rebound definitely, because you need to soak up the landing. If the rebound is high it will push back up too quick and you wont be ready for it. Higher rebound is for riding over rocks at high speed

I have mine set fast because otherwise the forks are to soft.

i run mine a bit slow but not full slow, about a 1/2 turn in but i might make it a bit quicker. rebund is really just preference
