Hi all,
It's my first time servicing suspension forks and I'm going to replace the oil in my Fox 32 F100 fork (because I love pulling stuff apart). After reading a few how-to's, they all mention crush washers that are located underneath the nuts on the bottom of the forks. However, the forks I have don't seem to have these crush washers, or if they do, I can't find them. What it does have however is custom shaped nuts at the bottom with a little lip that seems to fit over a raised section on the lowers. Does this remove the need for crush washers?
They are the stock fork on a '09 Giant Anthem X1 if that helps at all.
Cheers.
