Is sold my 2 year old floats to buy the 55cr a few months ago because the 55cr looked pretty. It was an awesome move.
The floats definately took a beating and rode well. My primary beef with them was the lack of micro adjustment in the rebound. It always felt like I had to wind over half way before they wouldn't top out. Yes they were serviced regularly, and no I couldn't be fucked mucking around with finding a better weight oil. Solutions existed, but I like things to work. Otherwise they were a boss fork.
The 55cr on the other hand feel awesome. They have very responsive adjustments. And look rad! I have given them plenty of flogging since my initial review in a different thread and could only be happier if the girl that used to be in the marzocchi adverts greeted me at the end of every ride with refreshments.
