I've only just recently gotten into biking for fitness and after having a go at a friends Giant Reign 1 around Loftus trails (the first time I have ever been on a trail) earlier this year I knew that I just had to have one.
I had done hours of research on this bike and the praise for it both locally and internationally, in print and online, is phenomenal. It's reviewed as a great bike for riders that want one bike to do it all. I purchased this top of the line 2007 Giant Reign 0 from Kuringai Cycles in April 2008 (I have receipts to prove).
I've only ridden the bike only a handful of times (I count 5 times) as I have 3 other bikes (I've gone a little bike crazy!), work 6 days a week and only get to duck out on the weekend, or every second weekend at times, it's truly an awesome 'all mountain' bike which is easily capable of comfortably going down and up hills unlike many other bigger travel bikes (or so I have read). The Fox Racing Shox Fork 32 Float RLC 140mm features adjustable Rebound, adjustable Lockout force, and also offers Compression adjust. The travel of this fork reaches coil-level plushness whilst still offering air fork adjustability. With 140mm of travel it is the perfect travel for your all mountain rig.
I'm selling the frame and the fork (check my other listing) but keeping all other parts for a dream project I am eyeing at the local bike store. The frame comes with the top of the line Fox 32 Float RLC fork, not to be confused with the cheaper RL fork which does not feature adjustable compression and lockout adjust features this fork does. Fork is also a feathery light 1.73kg. I am also very light weighing in at 57KG so you know the fork has not been stressed.
