Fox Shock Play

After a year of relatively hard riding, my Fox Float shock developed quite a bit of play. I took it in to be serviced and they replaced the DU bushings. Another 100km later and the play started to return so I took it back once more and again they replaced the DU bushings. I've just done another 50km and yep you've guessed it I can already feel the play starting to develop once more. So is this simply a case of replacing the reducers as well? Is there a way I can do this cheaply myself?

When you had the DU bushings replaced did the reducers fit in tightly?

If the reducers are slightly worn they will wear the DU bushings much quicker!

I would replace both the DU bushings and reducers together.

The DU bushings need to be pressed in. You can make one up or buy one from Grip!

my reducers got a litle worn all i did was put a layer of pluming tape over each to make them fit snug and no play in it what so ever
