Why is this MTB news you ask? Because this means that the driving time from Melbourne to Forrest has just been reduced by approximately 40 mins. In fact during peak times, this could be as much as 1 hour!

All the more reason to get over to www.forrest6hour.com.au and sign up. Travelling time to Forrest is now probably a little over 90mins. 90 mins and you could be hitting up our sweet, grippy, lush, winter playground down here.

I'll see if i can come down in the Holidays for a bit of XC. Is there any chance of grasstrees re-opening because that was pretty fun? Anyway the tracks down there are so flowy...

Has anything changed in the past 5 months or so?

Oh and the speed limit is 60Kmph at the moment, when they make that a 100 it should be quicker....
Pity it doesnt save much time if you live in geelong...

Awesome! im heading down to forrest for a couple days monday week. should make the trip alot quicker.
