today was carnage at ipswich (Qld, near brisbane for those of you who dont know). Ryan (a farkin.net crew member) overshot a berm after a steep drop and launched a good 20 feet in the air, and fell a further 10 feet i reckon onto sharp rocks. His now in hospital, has to get some metal plate in his arm, it was a seriously bad crash...and to whomever told Ryan he should 'just go home' do you now see why he went to the hospital eh?
Then some of us (myself, lindsay, wodey, craig van haren, deano, dom, ty, tim) hit up coo-tha. After building a kicker on top of a waterbar it was a good 53 feet to the down side. Wodey hit it first, just missed clearing it, and somehow stuck the landing, was a great recovery. Then Craig did the same, except not so lucky. landed on the nose, nose wheeled, got chucked and now looks like he has 2 broken bones in his wrist and kidney damage. A bad blow to craig as him and wodey are about to travel overseas together.
