Hi all,

just letting you know were running a three hour race at Geurie (between Wellington and Dubbo in Central NSW (4 hours to Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra) on June 3, starting at 10am. Come on out the weather is magnificent, trails are in great shape and the folks out here are friendly - what more could you ask?

Standard MTBA membership requirements, plus $15 for the club

Hi Matt,

Geurie is a stacked loop circuit on the west side with two options adding to a total of 9.5km, 9.3 km of singletrack, but with heaps of pasing options - thats the loop we'll be riding sunday (ie both options together), very flowy but with some climbs that will test after a few attempts. Much smoother and less climbing than Kinross. The eastern side of the Reserve (divided by a sealed road) has another 5 km of singletrack, a bit more technical and steeper descents and climbs. We race that side later in the year.

As well Dubbo has a 4.5km very tight circuit now on its doorstep at Mugga Hill, all up well worth a visit.

Second correction - race entry now $5

a glitch in the advertising has seen us advertise this race at $5 not $15, so $5 it is, come on down for a cheap afternoon of fun!
