Wish there was something similar locally. Guess i'll have to wait it out!

When are 2011 Giant bikes due to be announced? Seems a little early to be running out stock?

So many west coast bike shops are having massive sales but there is nobody on the east coast willing to budge much on price :(

Cheapest we can get an XTC 29er in Sydney is $2050 so i have NFI how these guys can sell it for $1610. All I know is i would have bought one had Giant not put in place the no shipping rule :(

What if we get a courier to come pick it up..... you dont need to know where its going do you?? ;) Chances are you will sell an XTC 29er and an X1 Trance......

A few places in VIC are having the same sort of sales. Ivanhoe cycles comes to mind.. but you're right, nothing in Syd!

Will probably just be a matter of time, but i'm keen to know what the shipment cycle for 2011 bikes is looking like. In particular for some Anthem 29er goodness!

problem is, the quicker they sell these at this price means less stock available for when, and if, Sydney sellers ever decide to put some up for sale at these type of prices :(

the 2011 recreational bike will be around soon but it will still be around 4 or 5 months befor we see all the high end stuff.

as far as sending a bike ova east we really cant giant are pretty strict on the rules.

we are mainly doing the sale as a promotion special for our new website in perth carinecycles.com
and were nice guys!

4-5 months is Septemberish, so yeah, that sounds right. Probably more announcements in June with shipments in Sep/Oct.

Good luck with the sale!
