Hey guys was just about to buy a another stem and was informed that maybe it might be an od2 steerer?
I can't find out much from my googling except on vital mtb it says its 1.5 - 1.125 which is 1⅛ but I don't know if their info is correct.
I'm crook at home at the moment and don't have verniers here to measure it myself

Giant OD2 is 1 & 1/4 (1.25"), a standard steerer is 1 & 1/8 (1.125")

What year model? I could be wrong but didn’t they switch back from OD2 to standard taper in the last couple of years?

Overdrive is Giants way of saying standard tapered steerer. OD2 is the oversized one you need to watch out for.

Any 1 & 1/8th stem will work as the bike is OD and not OD2

OD2 was a thankfully brief experiment. Died long before your bike.

The top bearing cover tells you what you need to know.... If it says "Overdrive" then it's 1 1/8" upper steerer, if it declares "Overdrive 2" then it's 1 1/4" upper.

Did it go beyond 2014/15 @The Duckmeister? I haven’t come across any after that....but haven’t really worked on many after that.
