Iv just bought a new RS monarch + for my Zesty only to find that the piggy back is going to hit my frame just before bottom out, the only way out of it if to mount the shock backwards & face the piggy back down, to do this I'll need a custom made shock mount that has a horizontal bolt instead.

... a horizontal bolt instead.
This will NOT work. The yoke/shock will pivot like a hinge around a horizontal bolt. That's why on this type of suspension design the yoke has a vertical bolt.

You need to get another type of shock.

How far before bottom out does it hit the frame? U could fit an internal spacer to reduce travel slightly. Or try for a DB Inline?
