Gripshift

Does anyone here run high end SRAM gripshift? I had XO years ago and liked it bar the "Unintentional shifting" I found happened when it got rough. Anyone running the new stuff?

Have the old 3*9 on a commuter. Works well. Especially like the trim offered by the front shifter. Outward movement of those tiny little matching grips is the problem.

I just put a GX grip (not at all high end) shifter on my sons bike, it's OK but not as nice as the old XX I have on another rig.
Gripshift is great in theory but I always ended up with a stiff hand after a long ride and wished there was an option for different outer grips so you could change diameter and material.

I like it for xc/ trail riding. Good to be able to rip thru 10 gears in one go.

Not good if you intend to hit jumps etc due to accidental shifts.

I have an 11sp xx1 for sale if you are interested PM me.

I have a set coming through a derailleur purchase. (Thanks Softek). I thought I might try them but had flashbacks of old grip shifter issues...
