I was just thinking how did you all come about to know about farkin?

just intrested for promotion wise, girls ride days etc that i plan to hold.

well basically becuase a heap of guys at my school have accounts on here.. as well as my boyfriend so yeah!! lol...
 
I just found it one day! I did a search for online MTB forums, and I kinda found one, which lead me to another, which lead me to another.... It's still going! Specifically I think I was having a read of MTB Dirt (QLD mtb forum)... And they had a link to here and voila! :)

was 2005ish the boss at work was posting his bike for sale, saw the site thought yeh il have a look later.

Unfortunatly I didnt pay enough attention and stumpled across farkin.com first!:p
 
lol... yeah i did that too stina lol then my dad looked up history and i got in shit casue he thought i was looking at porn lol :p
 
We got to know Squidly a few years ago and through him we learned about it. My son was always referring to stuff he had read on Farkin so I looked into it.

I only registered last year when my boy started racing as I found it the best place for info on races for a family that was wet behind the ears where racing and registering etc was concerned.

We are absolute "experts" on the dh and mtnx race bit now, ha ha and plus everyone was so helpful that we didn't really put a foot wrong.

As I said in another post, the people in the clubs and at State and National level are just wonderful, male and female, and you will not have a prob with any of them.
 
My brother put me onto it, he then skipped off to some motorbike forums and I stayed put :)
 
i 1st heard of it from the from the PYLET RIDERS when one of them sent me a link to a PINK BIKE ..i had to sign up so here i am.

The guy who go tme into riding and another friend (aka Lupine128 and Emerin) told me I had to sign up! So here I am.
 
I was researching for my first Dh bike since late last year. A couple of my boy mates both have FR/DH Norco's and were getting into it and my old GT just wouldn't cut it as a DH'er, in fact I just got sick of its lack of suspension and the skidding off in all directions & accidents. I found Farkin thru a google search or an advert off another forum, can't really remember. This place is a great resource for all things biking & meeting ppl and I even found the bike I eventually bought which was advertised on here!

I'm still not sure if I like the name Farkin' though :confused: It just causes silly laughter and further potty mouthing amongst our crew when we're referring to it, LOL
 
I heard about Farkin through friends mostly.
The boys send me a lot of DH bike for sale adds, which is cool :p
