No, Avid were well & truly under the SRAM umbrella by the time they started speaking that language. SRAM just quietly swept the Avid name aside once they'd completely destroyed any good reputation the name might have had. :evil:

All this stroke this stroke that talk and I figured it must be time for a bleed on my xt785 brakes.
Sure did! The juice looked black on the way out.
Anyhow I did a bleed with the free stroke screwed in, out, halfway...I left the levers where they were, I adjusted the levers, I fidgeted and fumbled and...if there is anything we can learn from this, it is that shimano mineral oil is about 5000007% better than dot fluid. My hands are soft and smooth. Brake wise I'm still sceptical about that little screw making any difference.
