How to...

defy Newton's 2nd law?

What I'm talking about is the basic skill of changing direction mid air.

I can orient the bike in flight to the succeeding direction want to go but can't seem to sail a graceful turn mid flight.

Is there a how to section around here or, is there a DH camp I have to attend to prevent hurting myself in the course of gaining XP?

"It's all in the hips...it's all in the hips..."

Throw your body weight around enough mid-air, and you'll notice changes.

You can't change your position much mid flight. Only direction. You need to tweak it off the up ramp to move in mid air.

I wouldn't fark with physics. Bad things will happen.

Edit: it says you can orient the bike but can't change direction? If you can you move the bike and not you body, then see above. It's all in the hips I reckon... Doing it before you get airborn is the best way though.

Yes, and a bit of foot positioning (right foot forward to turn left, left foot forward to turn right). I keep missing the landing spot and consequently overshoot the track. Very dangerous on some situations.

Need to view more DH/FR videos and ride more often :(

Sounds like you need to turn across the face of the lip before getting air, then use your body weight and hips to thrust the bike out to point it in the direction of the transition.

I know the theory, but still can't do it myself.
