I got some new pedals today. when i was taking off the old ones the right pedal came off fine but the left one came off with the axle still inside the spacer thingy (dont know the name). Iv tried tightening up the whole thing and undoing it but the pedal wont come out of spacer thing but the spacer will come out of the crank. Its a truvativ hussefelt(an older model). the pedal has been in for about 5 years.
should i try to glue the spacer thing into the crank and then try undoing it or buy a new spacer. If so then where from?

please help me

pedals

i had the same problem with mine. I used lock-tite on the thread insert then tightened the pedal back up, left it for a night then un-did the pedal the next day and the thread insert stayed in the crank.

You can fix it, but you may have varying degrees of success. Do a search. As said, loctite works well. Normal stuff might not be strong enough. I think something like 680 is the go, but do a search and check on that one.
