Had a search but didn't find anything.

When registering for the upcoming fun day online; I'm 17 and how do I get around the whole "you must be 19 and over" thing?

Do I just lie about my age or get my parents to sign something?

Think it's just the same as a race so just need it signed by a parent if you are under 18.

How do you do that online?
There should be a seperate consent form you can print off to get your parents to sign. Have you been to steve jones lately? I'm wondering if anyone has done anymore work on that little kicker I started.

You can get anyone over 18 to sign really.
I got one of the blokes who drove us out to sign for me.

Yes yes I know that.

But how do I get my name down to start with?

I can't get past the personal information page of the rego.

You have until the 1st of October to register.

Make sure you have a MTBA account and click the I have a MTBA account thing.
From there all your details are entered, after that you go to payment.
I'm only 16 and it works for me.

Yep, that's what I'm doing.

You can sign up for a free account on the WEBSITE. This is what I am talking about.

Then when you get to the place where you enter details, this is when you click I have an account or whatever it says. Other way doesn't actually work I think.

Sign up for a free account and you should be able to figure it out.

Oh thanks fisher.

Yeh I did that now it only says I owe them 15 bucks.

There was no thing to say I wanna do the fun day, well it does but its saying the whole day is free apparently?

EDIT:

It seems that there is no "category" option for me.

Anyone else get this problem?

This is bullshit.

I hate you technology.

Much easier if an actual person was on the other side.

Mate, just fill out the form online... When you come to the rego tent on the day, we will then get you to get someone over 18 to sign your consent form. The online form is mainly to get money paid upfront plus for the club to know how many buses we might need to order. The age thing is not a big problem online as long as we get a signature on the day.

Surely someone else has had this problem?

I really would like to pay the whole 60 dollars. I'll pay anything to ride that track.
