Either will be fine, they are both glycol based, which is compatible with Avid. In theory 5.1 is better, but I don't think it makes a difference on bike brakes. What makes a difference is bleeding them at least once a year.Hey guys,

Don't use mineral oil (Its for Shimano and a couple of others)
Don't use Dot 5, it's silicone based.
