Hi Trail Builders.
Trail Building this Sunday the 12th of September.
An 8am start this week.
Meet at the Quicke rd (gravel road) on the right hand side of Asher rd about 200 metres down from Mundaring Weir Road.
Please advise us on kctrailbuilder@iinet.net.au or 0405 121 959 if you will be coming along. If you plan to come later you can follow the signs but we will be a few of kilometres along the trail.

Just a reminder to follow all DEC signage up around the DELL area.
The trail may look safe but there are many hidden dangers so please obey the signs until they are removed and the area declared safe by DEC.

Construction of the Kalamunda Circuit up for Tender
This is fantastic news for the mountain bike community and hopefully we will have a full loop of approx 25 kilometres by the end of January 2011.
Please see below information about the tender from the WAMBA web site and a link to the tender.
The West Australian Mountain Bike Association (WAMBA) is calling for expressions of interest to tender for construction of the remainder of the Kalamunda Circuit mountain bike trail. A group of volunteers is currently constructing the trail north of the Mundaring Weir Road. The tender is for construction beginning south of Mundaring Weir Road and the trail will eventually join together with the newly built trail. A grant fund of $35,000 (ex. GST) is available to the successful applicant and costs will be reimbursed via the grant administrator, Cycling WA.

Karnet Prison Crew
What can we say but thanks again to the prison work crew from Karnet. They have done another 2 days work for us and it is so appreciated.
Dwellingup 100 next week
The big race is on the weekend of the 18th so if you have been training hard it is time to taper off ready for the race.
Come trail building this weekend, stretch those hamstring muscle, what a great alternative.
We look forward to meeting you on the trail.
