Leaf Concept DLX: hope, profile, fox, mutantbikes: update pg. 3

so after my last frame got mangled, i decided that i would start from scratch and build up a new bike. So far ive bough a used leaf concept dlx frame, bb and headset (thanks Callan :)) and picked up some profile race cranks today, still waiting on mutant bikes sin stem, mutant bikes small V3 bar, kenda npj 26 x 2.1 for the front, mutant bikes slimy seat and anodised ti bolts for the hub and integrated seatpost. will be ordering the rest of the parts in 2 weeks or so.

this is what i have now

this fork will only be sticking around until i have enough to upgrade. im thinking x fusion vengeance at 65mm

I still think we should have built a frame together. Would have been fantastic. Good luck with this one.

so there hasnt been much activity on this build until now as i bought a bmx and needed some stuff for that, but the mutant bikes parts finally arrived. only need a few more things to complete the build. also got some ns grips for it, cut the flanges and also flipped them so the end acts as a mini flange. sorry for the crappy photo, i was keen for a ride so i half arsed it :p

yep. until i get a new frame, i cannot turn left. let alone keep up my polish nature and (attempt to) barspin every second or third trick.

also i put this baby on a scale, its 10.5kgs without any sketchy parts or any cutting/drilling. take that weight weenies!

more than that. ive got suspension and a brake now. update coming tomorrow or whenever i can be bothered taking a photo. its absolutely dialled now apart from there being way too much travel.

well with 140mm travel theyre fine, didnt feel any flex 180ing down stuff and on sliders, so i guess at 80mm theyll be sweet. im not a very aggressive rider so it should work just fine for me
