Looking for a ride near Noosa - Easter Long Weekend

Hey everyone,

I'm a local Brissy guy headed up Noosa for the Easter long weekend. I am taking the bike with the intention of spending my time riding some new trails up there as i have heard they are well worth riding. It would be great to hook up with some local riders up there or other non locals that might be keen to do some riding over the weekend.

There is a local group that rides the Tewantin trails each weekend. Leave at 7.00am. Hopefully the trails aren't too wet.

Anyone else? Is there any decent freeride / DH stuff up in that area?

Nah not as much as I'd like. You need to have connections to ride any of the tracks. Beerburrum is the only public DH track on the coast.

hmmm by "public" do you mean dumbed down and boring?

Well if there is anyone who wants riding company up in that area let me know, mainly dh etc but i am keen for some xc / singletrack etc as well if anyone wants to let me in!!!

That or someone who has a private track should be nice and befriend a lone rider!! haha
