Few shots from a ride in Manly today.

On the 20" is Sam Hull and on the 26" is Ben Benny (Trialsguy on farkin)

Anyway, less talk and more photos!

Enjoy,

Chris. :)

Great shots Chris, as always.

Good to see Sam's still ripping it up. Haven't seen him around for a while...

very nice pics there, i really like the wide angle stuff, getting in close and using a short lens is always more fun :D

The low angle/city shot is a stunner!

Sam Hull - here's hoping he goes pro. There'll be no confusion, especially in NZ. ;)

Nice pics and nice bikes...but there is something i dont really get with Trial riders
why do they always (most of them) wear XC helmets with visors.
wouldn't a lid be more efficient? and suitable ?

Haha the only good thing about your general skid lid, is that they dont crack as easy, otherwise they are uncomfortable, have zero ventilation and make me look like a mushroom.

With trials you need something to keep your head cool, because you arent going fast enough to get a blow-through breeze!

niice pics and some nice riding too! i would love to get a trials bike one day..the tyres are obviously at really low psi, i was wondering, wouldnt they rimbash a real lot?
personally i hate the feeling of the tyre bottoming out..just like nails on a chalkboard:p
PS oh do u know how much the trials bike weighs?

pressures arent all that low. But when you have 100% of your weight on one tyre on a skinny rail its bound to compress the tyre all the way to the rim.
You have to try really hard to land smooth on rails etc to stop pinch flats.

The 26" bike weighs about 9.5kg, and the 20" would be about 8.5kg
