max travel for a sassy

what is the maximum safe amount of travel i can fit onto my 2009 norco sassy? ( by safe i mean not going to wreck my frame) and feed back would be much appreciated.

you'd be safe running 150mm 55's or 66's or lowered rock shock domains. a mate of mine runs 180mm 66 forks on his but I wouldnt class that as 'safe'

But here I am, the same guy who ran 220mm monster T's on his STP with no issues, its about how much of a risk your willing to take and how hard you ride

-But- if the bikes not for DH then I'd look out for a set of rs pike forks with 140mm travel

Its funny because you have run all 3 on your banshee and you cracked the frame with the 36s on it hahaha nice.
On topic. I recon anything over 6" on a hard tail is just whack.

They come with a 160mm fork standard. if you want plush upgrade to 66's or the like.

close your eyes and hold your breath whenever you ride.

The max designed tolerance should be in the bike's manual/specs... Just have a look there!
