I have the Ardent's on my Kona Unit and just love them. I ride them on my local river trails that are hard packed with a few sandy sections, Mt Major with its off camber corners and even on road (thats where they are slow, but thats road and l hate road riding).

It's Not Easy Being Green
I run Ardents front and rear on the hardtail and had a run out at Anglesea recently and found them great there.

It was a pretty good test for them with a good variety of trail. Loose over hard, off camber, hard pack, loose climbs and descents, sandy and couldn't complain at all.

They held really well on the loose rocky off camber descents and climbed well on the same with good control over the rear.

Good all round tyre!

I can report I've found the Ardent is great, a little skittish in deep sandy sections but what tyre isn't.

And on the road the knobby but close tread pattern in the middle creates a vibration which travels up to the saddle and is so tingly on the old family jewels!!!
