Just seen this helmet on the Met website, it's described as a freeride helmet. Could this type of helmet be used in a Downhill competition in Australia?

-You are suicidal, as not only is it not really any more protective than an open face, but you have the added possibility of broken chin piece slicing/dicing/impaling your face and neck , nice.
In short, I wouldn't.
