Check here for news when the chains will be down at monkey.

Sunday 10th Feb 3pm, weather permitting. A few of us will be doing runs unless it's flogging down.

To add to weather permitting, consider the weather preceding the day.

The last thing we need is a bunch of cars on a wet access road, chewing/rutting it up to the point we need to spend more money getting it regraded.

I'd also like to think people exercise a certain level of common sense when deciding to ride a waterlogged trail.

Lets think long term.

140mm of rain has fallen in that area in the last 9 days. It will be a mud bath even if we get no more rain.

the best idea is to leave the riding alone for one more week and hope we get some sun to dry everything out. we don't really want to spend more time or money in repair something that may have been provented in the first place. as has alreqady been said lets use common sense about riding in the wet at certain trails.
