Hi Guys,
Parks Victoria is currently making the "Mullum Mullum Park Draft Strategic Direction Plan" In the draft of the plan there is mentioned "potential for a sustainable designated mountain bike trail through the Park and nearby areas, in consultation with user groups and the local community;" and "feasibility of a small, sustainable BMX facility on a disturbed site in the north west of the Park, in consultation with user groups and the local community;"

HELL YEAH! Looks wicked as from a brief flick through. I'm guessing that they'd probably wanna either set up some dirt jumps or a bmx track, as well as some xc trails (there'd be nowhere to have downhill), so it's great to see the council/Parks not being forced and rallied into making some tracks, instead they are being proactive.

Regardless of what type of riding you do, make sure you contact the email address supplied and have your say. The more people that get behind every mtb proposal the more the government and Parks Vic will stand up and take notice.
