Mx googles compatibility with MTB

Bit of a silly question but looking at our purchasing these goggles

Are these for mx or can they be used for mtb as well?

When I first started racing dh I used old ski goggles. They immediately overheated, started spewing smoke and were totally unusable. Don't get goggles for adifferent sport unless you enormous having your face burnt of.


This is a lie. They'll be fine and you will even get tear off posts!

Nah - the dirt looks really different depending on whether or not you have a motor under you ;-)

MX goggles and DH goggles are almost literally the same thing. DH goggles are more expensive because they are labelled as such.

Of course skiing/snow boarding goggles would have overheated, they are made to be used in the snow and need to have some sort of heating ability, using them for any non-winter sports would give that effect.

I've used Scott MX goggles for the last 3 years, and they work great
