Zen, i had a bit of a fiddle with the front brake when it was in ashgrove, i think either the pads are kinda worn or chances are you got some oil in them, the least frustrating solution is to pony up for some new pads, you could do all kinds of voodoo witch doctor stuff like boiling them, burning them, using contact cleaner, sanding them, soaking them in the blood of a virgin but in the long run you'll save your self alot of time by just getting new pads.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Things like this make me wanna buy a bmx, fark!

Do you know when Gavin is doing his next Marzocchi order? then i can get the springs done at the same time.

Edit: i tried brake cleaner, boiling them, sandpaper....actually, i also tried just with the hose, and the thing is - when the brakes are wet they work fine, then they gradually lose power...whats up with that?
