hey Carl, forgot to ask where you got the bike? I had no idea you were getting a new bike this weekend.
Well i wasn't actually planning on getting it this weekend.
I knew that Bicycle superstore had one and it was on sale and i asked them if they could match the price of another store and they said yes.
We were going to get it on Monday but Dad took me in again today.
So yeah i got the bike from bicycle superstore

hate to burst your bubble, but that first shot makes the frame look like a young ladies bike (the typical floral design)

not saying its a bad thing, just pointing it out
nice first ride though, i love a good sassy

Sassys are a great basis to start riding on the rough stuff. I would have LOVED a sassy when I started downhilling, instead I had to make do with an XC rig with Alivio V-brakes, Rockshox Jett Forks and 1.9" tires.
And yeah, pretty sure a very high percentage of people out there who are into DH have either owned a Norco Shore HT or a Norco. I had a Norco Rampage for a while and loved it, took a buttload of abuse - and the thing is with starting downhill on a hardtail, it really teaches you how to pick lines and utilize your body over the rough stuff.

Nice

Nice ride mate,
I have one just like it. The frames are very strong. You'll have a blast hitting up the trails on a sasquatch-Its a great bike to start on. Enjoy

Looks great and virtually unbreakable - don't worry about the naysayers.
Also, I love the blue Singletrack rims.

Norco hardtail pride!
(I have a 2003 Bigfoot in the shed)
