Shimano Deore XT - Race Build Kit
The most popular build kit of the range, the Shimano XT-Race groupset drops weight over the Easton kit and adds a few more tricks to the ensemble. Whilst the XT drivetrain and brake set remain, Yeti also utilise a lighter handbuilt DT Swiss wheelset that rolls on the bombproof 350 hubset that's laced to Tubeless Stans Arch EX rims. To match the rest of the bike, Yeti have also gone and decorated the XT kit with a beautifully machined Thomson post, a lightweight Haven Carbon handlebar and they've even specced the higher quality EVO tyres from Schwalbe with a Tubeless Ready casing. All up, there are very few parts on the XT kit that you could upgrade and realistically, you're getting very close to the performance of XTR at only a slight weight penalty.

To match the rest of the bike, Yeti have also gone and decorated the XT kit with a beautifully finished Truvativ Stylo cockpit and they've even specced the higher quality EVO tyres from Schwalbe with a lighter casing and higher quality rubber.
